Summer of 2010 in Baton Rouge, Louisanna, the Baton Rouge Little Theater had Dewey Automation install a turntable controller for their new turntable. The mechnical system was a chain drive design built in-house by the BRLT's knowledgable tech staff. As a permenant installation, this controller can be expanded to meet further demands for automation of stage scenery.
In 2009 at the Salina Community Theater, in Salina, Kansas, had DAI Concepts equip the theatre with an automated controller system for their new turntable. The system was installed just in time for their production of Les Miserable. Although, the software platform for Salina's controller is tailored to be used with their turntable, it can still be modified for use other moving scenic elements.
Dewey Automation updated the automation software at the Omaha Community Playhouse, Omaha, NE in 2008.
The summer of 2007, Creighton University's Lied Theatre had DAI retask their single purpose automation unit, into a programmable motion control unit. Although the system was connected to a cable drawn elevator for their production of Chicago, the automation controller can be used on other moving devices.
