From 2008 to 2009,
Dewey Automation worked with
Heartland Scenic Studio (HSS) on exhibits for the
Children's Museum of Houston's (CMH) several new permanent exhibits. DAI Concepts participated in creating interactive displays for the
Tot Spot, Matter Factory, and Kidtropolis exhibits which were housed in CMH's new addition.
Through
HSS, Dewey Automation & Interactive Concepts designed and built several components for the Strong National Museum of Play's Berenstain Bears exhibit.
Early 2008, along with Heartland Scenic Studio, DAI designed and built an interactive display which measured vistors strength in horsepower for American Museum of Natural History's The Horse.
From 2006 through 2007, Dewey Automation was engaged by Heartland Scenic Studio to assist with the integration of interactive functions into Heartland's cabinetry. Heartland was commissioned by the Children's Museum of Houston to fabricate their touring exhibit of Cyber Chase. A duplicate exhibit was constructed as a permanent display in Houston, at the end of 2007.
